The computer dealer will start dealing cards, and manage the game in the same way as a dealer in a casino would. The game is fully automated.

- Understand the Basics – The game is played with a standard 52-card deck. Two cards are dealt, and if they are not consecutive or a pair, a third card is drawn. You place a bet on whether the third card will fall between the two dealt cards (the "spread").
- Wider Spreads Favor You – The bigger the spread, the better your odds.
- Bet Bigger on Large Spreads (7+) – Higher probability of winning.
- Avoid Small Spreads (1-3) – Lower chances of winning.
- Pairs: If the first two cards are a pair, a third card is drawn. If it matches, you win 11:1; otherwise, it's a push.
- Consecutives: If the two cards are consecutive (e.g., 8-9), the round is an automatic push.
- The house edge in Red Dog is around 2.8% with optimal strategy.
- Betting on wider spreads helps reduce the house advantage.
